Hopefully that will not be true for the MacBook. Asus boards, by all accounts, exhibit great build quality. Maybe we will even know soon.

I am still hoping the iBook will be quieter and plenty fast enought. My old G3 iBook was great, while my brother's 17" Titanium was always being repaired.

It's called an iBook. I tend to agree. It's also quiet.

Can link the picture to a higher resolution image? I am dying to read what is in the box, etc. If Apple released this, I would buy it yesterday!

My early Intel iMac wireless keyboard was disconnecting on a fairly regular basis and had a range of about 1.5 feet before. I always thought that this was either some kind of bluetooth issue of a defective keyboard. Since this update, I can take…

I wanted response from both boards. You guys who got upset that I posted in two places or got upset about my post are really weird. I am actually interested in getting an MBP or an MB, though not if they are full of problems. You may not care, bu…

No, the one that I have seen is newer. Much thinner. Core Duo. Rated at 9 hours. I kid you not. I agree, however, that there is no way it will run 9 hours. Then again, Apple's battery estimates are trumped up too. And who can forget, "five …

Panasonic is advertizing a very thin Core Duo with 9 hours of battery life.

Works fine on my iMac. Boy, those MBPs are just full of little problems. Heat. Noise. Apple charges a lot of dosh for a machine that exhibits those problems. Having discovered the joy of an almost silent PC with my Intel iMac, I will never to…
