I'm really starting to wonder about all the "emails from Steve Jobs." Are these actually being confirmed or just taken at word?

It's amazing how much cell companies get away with around the world. False advertising, price gouging, and breaking contracts. How much longer until some serious change? I thought Apple was going to provoke it when they first released with AT&am…

This app is quite incredible. We've just had a customer send in a new Mac mini with all of his music collection on it so he can get to it anywhere in the world at anytime without leaving his home iMac on.

It works fine, though does take a little setup. If ever I'm in a situation where the iPhone can't handle the job on it's own, this will be nice to have.

I think this ability will be both popular and useful. I've already had quite a few iPhone developers contact me about getting some Mac servers set up to push their notifications. They're excited to have the ability. I suppose the biggest worry is…

Have we heard anything on how these alerts will need to be sent from our servers? Will I need a Mac server in order to "play nice" with Apple's servers? Just trying to plan ahead.

Let's get some of those notebook boards in a new Mac mini please.

I hope there are more apps that are good just on their own. By this I mean, doesn't rely on an online service. Nearly all of these are just interfaces for online companies (NYT, Ebay, Facebook, Myspace, etc)

As I see each of these plans get announced, I can't help but shake my head at the mobile industry in general. Ten years after cell phones have become pretty commonplace, they still detail you out to minutes and kilobytes. It's quite sad. On that…

I think the reason for this is because a lot of the apps will be tied to other services. For instance, who would pay for an ebay app to participate in auctions? I think a lot of people see the iPhone app as a way to further their online service o…

I don't mind the contract or the carrier...I just like the convenience of doing it at home. Bummer.

I drive by the City Center everyday as I drive to my data center. It really is becoming quite the resort. With it's modern look, it makes the surrounding buildings look old. However, I wish Apple would put just one store off the strip somewhere.…

It can definitely be setup as just a wireless hard drive. (We have people stick them in our data center and use it for a remote backup.) Maybe these instructions will help. (Of course, the only difference would be to leave on the wireless if you …

I've purchased about 40 refurbed Mac minis when customers requested them and they've all worked great. I also just bought a refurbed iMac for my mother-in-law and it hasn't had any problems. Apple does a real good job with them. (You just mi…

Yes, if you go to the completed listings on ebay you can get a pretty good idea on where the market value is set. But there is another site I use and it seems to peg used Mac prices quite accurate. http://www.mac2sell.net/

Here is what I work with each day.

I won't make the mistake of going to an AT&T Store again. They refused to let anyone know when they ran out of phones because they wanted to continue taking pre-orders. It's 100 degrees outside (in Vegas) and they had you waiting the whole time.…

I downloaded the MBA update to my MBA, but it said that I was up to date as well. I got mine about a month ago so maybe this is only for the real early owners?
