I despise that TRAI chairman's position on privacy - but I kind of admire his skillful use of rhetoric. I hope Apple sticks to its guns on this issue - even if it means pulling out of the Indian market. They must know a whole host of other countri…

A great start! Looking forward to seeing what the new CEO will fix next.

The surfing one seems straightforward to me. Paddling out from the beach and then into waves can be an excellent workout - especially if you get caught inside on a big day. When on the wave I'd say a shortboard rider would be be working hard but it…

Fascinating research. I can see studios tapping into this kind of research when they are doing audience surveys and focus group work. People often write what they think the research company is looking for, but the heart rates don't lie!

Interesting. The 11km range is too short for me personally but some might find it useful. How about AI do a review of the Evolve electric skateboard and their accompanying iOS app? I have one and love it so would be interested to see the AI perspe…

Really looking forward to getting these options! One of the only good things about using the corded earphones was the play/pause/next track functionality.

Funny, I never heard about this being implemented in NZ, but it is on the Beehive webpage and everything. Maybe I just saw the words 'Android' and 'Location' earlier and assumed it was another story about Google giving "trusted third parties" (anyon…

Does anyone know if ARkit will work on a iPhone SE?

I would like to know what happens if I try to send money to an iOS 11 user who doesn't/hasn't used ApplePay. In NZ there is only one bank that does ApplePay so the odds of the recipient not having ApplePay are reasonable.

Maybe some day we will get Apple News in New Zealand without having to change the country ID on the phone to 🇦🇺 or 🇺🇸. One can dream, I guess.

I'm not sure you could describe iCloud back up as 'secure' - placing a copy of all your data on someone else's server never seemed like a good idea to me. I have always used iTunes encrypted backup route as per the second part of the article. I a…

How come no one is asking the UK government why they didn't stop that idiot a year/6 months/a week ago? The UK is already the most surveilled country in the world with the possible exception of North Korea. NK relies more on human assets of course…
