Oh good, another hockey puck. This time around, it doesn't even look like it's got a cable or removable side panels so you have no hope at all of getting it pointed in the right direction. It's always funny when people talk about how Jobs or Ive wo…

Funny that malware like CleanMyMac is complaining about malware. I remove that garbage any time I see it.

It would be better if there were no carve-outs, but it's a huge step forward. It'll be interesting to see if Apple tries to keep parts pairing going in other states, it'll be really hard for them to keep pulling that stunt now.

And... it crashed one of my AirTags. Didn't brick it, fortunately. But I had to take the battery out and put it back before it was findable again. Uncontrollable updates are BAD, Apple.

I'm really looking forward to Apple losing this one. Not just to laugh at all of you, but also because it's one more thing that will finally force Apple to allow normal software installation on iDevices.

YES! Open platforms are good for everybody.

Apple seems to be really good at introducing new bugs while not fixing old ones these days.

I'm looking forward to the DoJ crushing Apple in court. Not buying this nonsense. Apple has been breaking the law in a big way for years, it's time for them to pay.

While glossy screens are EVIL on laptops, I'm not sure how well this will work on a touchscreen. The fingerprints need to be easily cleanable. How about just giving us back antiglare MacBooks? They were so amazing, you could have a light behind yo…

About time. Apple has been illegally monopolizing app distribution on iDevices for well over a decade now. It's time for the nonsense to stop. I should be able to install any software of MY choosing on MY iPhone, without interference from Apple. I…

I don't understand why you'd try to pretend it's even remotely the same. Epic does not control access to any platform. Any developer can put up a website and sell a game directly to the public, giving Epic nothing at all. The same does not apply to…

I really, really dislike getting ANY update without adequate release notes. And not being able to control when or if I'm going to be installing an update is NOT ACCEPTABLE, as is not being able to reverse a problematic update. Apple is going to en…

Printing has always been a disaster. It was a disaster in 1980 when we had to play games with serial pinouts and parallel cards. It was a disaster in 1990 when we had to play games with postscript printer definition files, and printing would regular…
