This is great. Will they integrate a mic as well? That's missing from the current iPod Touch. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to use the same body as the iPhone 4? Or maybe the plan is to always use the body of the cheaper iPhone (3Gs).

I just don't get why someone would pay $70-100 per year for something that can be had for free or a fraction of that price with even better functionality. Honestly, other than Find my iPhone, there is not one valuable feature. Flickr, gmai…

I just ordered one to use as a media server and I can't wait till it gets here. iPad + Mac mini my replacement for my dying MacBook. Portability with the power of a full MacOS through VNC tools. I can see that combo being the new norm for m…

Apple has never been about market share. As long as revenues and profit keep going up, they're doing well. Having said that, in the US, I would think they would be plateauing. In order to keep revenues growing in this market, it just makes b…

Netbooks are crap. iPads are not full Computers. MBP 13" is a little too big for lots of people. Give us a skinny 11" MB_. 11" screen 64-128GB SSD no optical drive 4GB ram and most importantly... Give us a docking solution.

I think they need to stay competitive on the price. $499 is fine for now with no real competition out there. Once Android and Chrome tablets enter the market, I would like to see a drop in the price or a bump in the specs. For only $30 di…

iWork really needs to be as complete as Google Docs. I shouldn't be required to purchase the iWork suite if I have already paid for Mobile Me. -Edit files with tracking of changes -Ability to present Keynote -Print files to local printers …

Luis, I don't think you really get it. iPhone OS on a device doesn't mean that it has to have multitouch. It's an operating system used to run applications. It can be used for pretty much all of Apple's current and future devices regardl…

If Apple can license and customize ARM chips that are power-efficient yet still beefy, what will Intel's place be in the future product pipeline? I'm thinking Apple is working on making OSX independent of any particular processor type. Softw…

Many shows don't get picked up or renewed by TV networks, but still have large bases of viewers. iTunes would be the perfect platform for content producers to sell directly to consumers. Instead of getting the run-around from the networks an…

For the same reason that it doesn't make sense to pay $60 per month to the Cable company if you rarely watch, it also doesn't make sense to pay Apple $30 per month and only watch 2 shows. 1. Lower the price drastically which will spur consump…

$10 per month is the magic number for me. Considering that Apple takes 30% for distribution, I'm willing to pay $14 so that the NYT can get their full $10 per month.

100million dollars is a drop in the bucket for apple. I think it's more important not to alienate their customers. Instead of getting into the search business or switching to bing, they should increase their share of the search ad revenue…

I think the killer app for the iPad would be mobile Office. No one cares about iWorks. I want to be able to view and edit MS Office PowerPoint, excel, and word docs. I'm not sure if they'll develop for the iPhone OS. I'm not aware of any…
