  • Because they want to lure switchers like me, and I'm sorry but Mac OS or no Mac OS i want the newest hardware if I'm gonna shell out my hard-earned cash from my part-time summer job before I start uni. If this means getting a dell, then so be it.

  • Well in that case it's painfully obvious; get the mac. If money is no object, now that bootcamp exists, I'd have a hard time justifying building a windows box when you can get 2-for-the-price-of-1 with a mac.

  • I don't see them ever getting rid of the pure MP3 player in the nano form-factor, either, though. Many people have different phones (even those capable of playing music) but still prefer the ease of use and simplicity of a separate device.
