Unfortunately, previous AVCHD camcorders had much worse image quality than HDV camcorders. Let's hope that can be fixed in 2008.

I agree: Not gonna happen. It would be a lot of work for Apple, and they want you to buy a Mini or AppleTV instead of a PS3.

There is a hack where you enable fast user switching and VNC, then log in a bunch of users, then the users can all connect simultaneously with VNC. I doubt Apple will ever allow official OS X thin clients.
