wait. So now when I double tap in a text field it will no longer zoom? I love double tap to zoom. Way more effective than pinching. How's it gonna know when I want to edit text versus zoom?

The wife needed a smart phone, and since we have different tech tastes, I wanted this to be all her decision. I didn't push her get an iPhone like me. Being a marriage vet, I knew that if I pushed her to get an iPhone, and she didn't like it, it was…

My experience with my 3G tells me that the signal strength indicator (the bars) is more honest on the iPhone. More accurate. I get one to two bars in my house on the iPhone. Now I used to get 5 bars in my house with my old POS standard mobile ph…

Safari is the winner hands down. I never realized how much the browser can affect surfing speeds. 3.0 loads my gReader twice as fast as Firefox. 3.1 is even more ridiculous. Using Firefox now is like going to a wax museum.

Leak? Wait. Didn't you guys attend MacWorld this year? It was made pretty clear at MacWorld that Apple would be handling this.

Have any of you 720 honks ever used the PC input on that tv of yours? There's your difference right freaking there. The way that box is going, Steve's 'hobby' might as well be a turntable. Although, I might have to side with the 720 n00bs in reg…

I just wish it would have been opened up to 3rd party tuners and dvrs. That would have made it a sweet set top box for us free over the air hd folks. Looks like I'm gonna be stuck with a MacMini. But even the Mini doesnt have HDMI out like some othe…

Apple TV with built in digital tuner and DVR. The only reason I pay for cable is the dvr box. I live in the middle of a city where I get great HD reception and would have no problem being limited to free network tv only. Cable runs me over $800 a ye…

I've always dreamed of a tablet until the truth finally dawned on me. I was sitting on my couch with my MacBook chilling in my lap when I realized that the screen on my MacBook was exactly where it was supposed to be: in front of me. I mean if this …

Guys, tap to click is fantastic. Its way easier and far more comfortable, especially when trying to drag and drop. I mean drag and drop alone is reason enough to use it. Seriously, everyone who has tap to click off needs to retry dragging and droppi…

All networks will eventually offer their programming stright from their site. And why not? iTunes get a royalty that is passed onto us. If they can cut that out and keep our prices low, then great. One less middle man to pay. Now the catch to th…

Well, I'm hoping Leapord + AppleTV2.0 brings a few upgrades. Compatibility with a Miglio dual HD Tuner and the ability to expand the hard drive. The more I think about this (and, yeah, I am slow) the more I like my Core Duo MacBook only working …

At the same time however, there's already a large population of users who find iTunes downloads useful, and haven't yet invested in a $1000 Blu-Ray player and $35 movies, and haven't signed up to pay $100 or more per month to get HD cable in the mar…

WiMax will be here inside of 5 years. You'll be able to use VoIP to make calls on your iPhone when that happens. Unless Apple completely blocks all VoIP software from their machine, which might be grounds for fanboy revolt. I dont think the true…

Those idiots read the inscription wrong anyway. Its not Mary Magdelene. Its Mary and Martha. Hell, who cares about credibilty anymore when money is to be had. The book is 6th on the NYTBSL. Jesus doubters are making for easy prey these days.

bwahaha. Cameron has announced that a book is following. The movie is just a commercial for the book. He's just trying to pull another Dan Brown. What a tool. It is fun to see someone exploit and rip off the atheists though. The same atheists w…
