This is a great example of why a design firm like mine would skip a version of CS. And there's no way we'd switch to PCs to avoid waiting for a suite of 64 bit apps. This will only hurt Adobe.

I agree that folks are underestimating the number of people waiting for the 3G version of the iPhone to release. I know I'm not the only one waiting for the next version before jumping into the iPhone pool. People may not just be waiting for the 3G …

Would it be so hard to support Flash and an Ad Blocker that hid the ads you don't want to see? My Adblock Plus works well and if it disrupts something I want to see, it's easy to disable for that page or server.

Verizon and Apple trying to negotiate control must've been funny to watch. I hope passing on the iPhone is an expensive mistake for Verizon and they stop monkeying with phone design.

does Microsoft fund the legal pursuits of these little companies??

I'm not pro-subscription, but if it were going to work, i think the subscription rate would have to be even cheaper. I'll still want to buy music, so maybe $5.99/month to try out all the music I want and then $.99 for the songs I want to keep might …

My Verizon account is up in September so I'm hoping to have heard good things by then and will be ready to make the switch to Cingular. Incidentally, Verizon's coverage is a bit better in my neighborhood than Cingular, but I'm willing to overlook th…

This is great since I'm usually faced with a dilemma when an artist pre-releases a song from the album. I didn't always want to buy the song if I knew I'd likely get the whole album later. Conversely, if I had already bought one of the songs, I was …

seriously, the folks that actually awarded these patents should be the ones getting sued. is it too late to patent exchanging information digitally?

well, there are obviously different things going on here. but don't forget the simple idea that Apple has created a color coded status symbol. people still like to be seen with their iPod. while that club is less exclusive these days, Apple can make…

i thought the Mac Guy was likeable. but introducing a Mac Girl seems like a plausible next step. but, have they even confirmed they PC Guy/Mac Guy campaign will continue? i'd more likely expect Apple to move to a new idea all together.

This seems like it could be useful. Especially without a .Mac account. But doesn't the home folder host most people's Music Library? So moving the home folder to your iPod would essentially be carrying around your music, twice. I suppose you could h…

Man, i've missed Fireworks. Glad to see it getting the credit it deserves. Like ImageReady, I'm sure it will be treated as a seperate program.
