Why not try the old repair permissions trick. You may have already done this but you did not say so in your post. Good luck. bob

I use an external drive for my iTunes library and an IOGear powered firewire hub to connect both my drives and my iPod to the computer. Everything works like a charm. You should have no problems. good luck bob

Playing Dark Castle on an SE30 while on call at San Francisco General Hospital. That is still the best game I have ever played. I wonder if it is still available and would it run on a G4? bob

I have both Halo and UT 2004. I was not much of a gamer before so I cannot give you a detailed comparison but I will tell you that to me they seem to play very well. The graphics are detailed and the movements smooth. My son the gamer says he likes …

I know I can do it. I swore I would and I will. I vow to keep my newly purchased rev. C 12" PB completely MS free. bob

Addendum to previous post. I have installed both Halo and UT 2004 and I have upped the ram to 768mb. Both of these games play very well on this unit. Still no dead pixels. I am very happy with this powerbook. bob spears

Just got mine last night. Plain Jane 256mb 60gb HD. Set up went easy and fast. This thing is a hellava lot zippier than my DP450 desktop and just blows away my 12" iBook. The display looks great. NO dead pixels. The case is square and level. It does…

I saw these guys at MacWorld this January. It is an iMovie only effect but I guess you could then import into FCE. It looked slick. There may be a FCE effect available but if not you could give this a try. Good luck. eZedia iMovie blue/green scre…

Walexx, I don't know the answer to your question but I would suggest that you take a look at the etymotic headphones (model ER6). I have them and just love them. I tried the B&O headphones and although they sounded nice they did not appear to…

I am using a Canon 10D shooting simultaneous RAW and jpeg. Using iPhoto4 to move the pics (with the delete files from camera after download button checked) I get a dialog box after importing that says there were certain files on the CF that iPhoto d…

Eugene, Thanks for the link. That looks like a great site. I have bookmarked it. I am still a babe in the woods with this digital photog stuff and can use all the help I can get. My comment about the sensor in the 1Ds was based on the images I go…

I agree. I have a SanDIsk ultra II 1 GB card and it works well. WIth the 10D shooting at 3fps you can run into a short delay in writing from the buffer to the card but it has been overly troublesome. bob

Eugene, If you go to this website you will find some interesting discussions concerning the D70. It sounds like its going to be a nice camera. I am happy with my 10D and hope to be for many years to come. bob ps.......i had a chance a few w…
