Entertaining for an Apple fan boy to see but hardly exciting for a slick piece of soft and hardware to eat into a mundane corporate market. How exciting is a calendar and diary? All corporations consider new machines. This is a hack selling a …

So when can we expect the 10 millionth iPhone sale?

"don't take other peoples word for it" Try Vista yourself! Just like the people did in the video.

Apple designed motherboards?

The success of emulation sold more Macs than the OS battle. XP created a halo effect which drove people to buy Apple's new hardware so they could still run their existing XP. Apple switched it's competitor from Microsoft to the PC manufacturers w…

I doubt that there will be huge performance boosts on just two cores. It's a bit like expecting two train platforms(cores) to work well with 6-10 trains(apps) wanting to come and go at once. I expect Grand Central will scale well, so that when we ha…

I use a PPC iBook and have had a few niggles with Leopard. Initially I had the 'wireless dropping' bug but it was fixed with 10.5.2. Now I have noticed that I cannot copy from a finder window to a destination in the sidebar. For instance if I h…

Do analysts live in the real world of 2008? Do they really think that what is sold in the US stays in the US? It looks a bit ridiculous to read that these iPhones are described as "missing" in the first place. Even in Steve Jobs' keynote a ye…

This is Apple recouping it's R&D costs. They are selling a proof of concept. The principle goals were the worlds thinnest notebook and multi-touch. The people who buy the MBA will love it but I think there wont be many. It seems obvious tha…

Quote: The hottest thing in a laptop is the CPU. A thin design makes it harder to cool because you have to have a smaller fan. No doubt there will be a fan but it doesn't need to be as large since the environment inside the case is less hostile.…

The multi-touch(MT) keyboard is mainly a success and allows Apple to proceed further. A keyboard as proper keys is not suitable for most 'mobile' usage since they can only be used from a stationary position, the iPhone has shown that MT makes much m…

Apple should use the OLPC screen to reduce cost and lengthen battery life.

The whole gaming industry is feeling the pinch now that they are developing expensive games for consoles that are not selling as well as they had hoped. Nintendo's Wii and DS are acting as spoilers to the PS3, PSP and a lesser extent the Xbox360. …

With all the fuss over NBC and News Corp I think Apple should show some love to the video amateurs who are willing to produce better and better content using Apple computers. They should allow the Apple TV to connect directly to the web and use i…

I'm hoping to get an interface my father would "like" to use. A cross between AppleTV and the iPhone. We cannot have a static Desktop after we turn it on. To my father it's the same as havinga a CLI cursor blinking away.

Back to Mac. To be able to browse your home Mac through the internet would be great on the iPhone.

I hope they combine the desktop and dashboard. The desktop should fly in like dashboard does now. So no matter which space you are in the desktop simply overlays itself on top when it is needed. The backdrop changes depending on the space.
