60% of the all the CDs sold by Amazon.com on Thursday were by Michael Jackson. Wow!

If the app itself is free, and I could just pay for one month's service when I travel, then that is a good deal. If I'm locked into a monthly subscription, then forget it!

Overall performance is 2-5x faster than my original iPhone, so I'm very pleased.

It seems that some folks would be better off picking up the Mac Box Set (Leopard/iLife '09/iWork '09) which I have seen for as little as $125 on Amazon, and then order the $29 Snow Leopard upgrade separately.

I pre-ordered mine from ATT.com on the 9th, and it's still "in progress". What's odd is that the $318 authorization I had on my debit card disappeared a few days ago. Should I be worried?

No tracking number yet from AT&T.

Ha ha, that was a good one. For a moment there I thought they said $15 per month.

I've been using it on my crappy work PC, and it actually runs pretty well. The betas were terrible.

AT&T is offering free overnight shipping, so I decided to go that route. Camping out would've been fun, though.

$29 is exactly what I was expecting.

I haven't shopped at Wal-Mart in eight years. It truly is "redneck central", and not somewhere Apple computers need to be sold.
-
How about a cheaper voice plan? I only use about 100 minutes per month.

I enjoy twittering, but fail to see how Apple could integrate it into their ecosystem. Perhaps as an option in the new Messages app on the iPhone?

FYI: a Word document with standard margins on a 8.5" x 11" piece of paper has 9.7" of text. Since the Kindle has very little margins, the difference should be negligible.

Would a Verizon iPhone come with a tube of lubricant?

That appears to be just a tad bit faster than the 50Kbps I'm getting on EDGE.
