I didn't have a battery issue (on iPhone 4) and still don't after updating to 5.0.1. But I did have certain Location Services shut off prior to the update (those suggested a few weeks back in order to avoid excess battery drain) and noticed that the…

Typically, with a DSLR, it is better to do HDR by taking multiple exposurers with a range of shutter speeds while keeping the f-stop (aperature) the same. This eliminates depth of focus anomilies that will otherwise occur. In other words, stopping t…

South Korea, which recently approved the iPhone for its cellular networks, has CDMA only. Apple needs to produce a unique variant of the iPhone for that market. The iPhone continues to have higher penetration overseas than in the US.

UK users on the multiple 3G networks the iP4 is available on ARE complaining about signal loss. I'm sure that network signal strength has something to do with why some users see no bars disappearing, while others see rapid evaporation of their netwo…

Returning to 3.1.3 isn't an option for certain baseband models of the 3GS. A version of instructions http://www.maclife.com/article/howto...e_iphone_os_40 but not sure if it works with the final release of iOS4, nor if Apple will sign the 3.1.…

To state the obvious: why is no one considering that this phone is for the Asian market?
