Lack of periods aside, the integrated Intel graphics aren't good for games. At all.

Take it in to a store. Sometimes MacBooks think that it should be putting out optical Audio when they shouldn't, which means it turns off the speakers.

Another thing you might try is getting the Camino 1.1 beta. It's worth a shot at least, form my experience it's fairly stable and I'm happy with it.

Generally, the more cache you can get the better. Larger caches mean that less stuff has to be written to memory or the hard drive. This can be a bit of a bottleneck in the grand scheme of things. Personally, I'd go 2GHz with 4MB caches.

Windows Media Player has been discontinued anyway, flip4mac is its replacement. So no, you don't need WMP.

I did, even deleted the keychain entries for it adn reentered them... hmm. It looks like it connects for a few seconds then drops, don't know what that would tell me though.

It's an issue that has supposedly been fixed with updates. Run the Microsoft update manager.

Iprobably should have said to to to the Preferences and click on Dashboard adn Expose. There you can change what F key does what.
