  • As stated above, if you really really really want an item, the only way to be "almost positive" that you'll get it is to use the automatic bidding apps which will apply your set amount in the last 10-30 seconds before closure. I wouldn't call mysel…
  • Thanks sunilraman. I have heard from quite a few people now including yourself that the 17" is just...gigantic. Any additional thoughts on bumping up to 3 gigs? The $500 price jump is pretty steep. Is there that large of a performance gain? T…

  • That is very interesting about the keyboard being set back further on the 17". I had never thought about that. I am sort of leaning towards the 15" as of right now because of the portability. A few more questions about the slight improvements o…
  • Skype is the best one out right now. Any other just does not have enough users to make it worthwhile in the first place.
  • There's a small application called viJournal that apparently is pretty nice and packed with features. It could definitely handle what you said you needed to put in your journals. Here is a link for it. http://freespace.virgin.net/jeremy.d...vij…

  • Classic pre-MacWorld fakes popping up all over the place. There's always Mac fakes, but right before Macworld always brings out the worst ones.

  • What are you trying to do with these "journals"? Are they just basic text documents or do they contain images, outlines, etc? I'd guess either a word processor or as mentioned above one of the older MacJournals would work perfectly.
  • Triumph is not even close, for either of these formats. AACS was just cracked on the Doom9 forums for HDDVD. Bluray also uses AACS, so that will come crumbling down soon. It was bound to happen, this was just earlier than anyone expected. Until …

  • I have no clue what browser you are using, so I will assume it is Safari. On the Safari menu, choose Empty Cache. A confirmation will come up and just hit Empty to confirm. If you are using some other browser just let me know.
  • And remember to use your IPod for other stuff, too. It is one of the best transfer methods for documents and pictures I've ever used. It serves as the perfect portable hard drive.
  • I am also in the market for a MacBook Pro in the near future, although right now I am definitely waiting. At the very least wait until after Macworld '07, which is in 7 days. You never know what they might announce and it is not like you're going …
  • Easiest way to fix the problem is to reset/restore your Ipod and then have Itunes put all your songs back on it. Should take about 20 minutes tops
