  • If that's the case then awesome. I'd definitely pay $600 for a phone w/ unlimited data and multimedia messaging. That's fantastic. However, I doubt that that's going to happen, I really do. Plus, I'm waiting for more storage in my iPhone. While 8…
  • 1. Enhance hardware (bigger HDD, etc) 2. Allow two-way streaming (instead of just grabbing information, allow it to send it, too) 3. Create a movie/show rental service in iTunes 4. Allow the device to connect to the iTunes Store 5. Enable conten…
  • I always defrag my iPod nano after I upload a mass amount of songs on it. It just keeps everything nice and steady. I defragged my friend's 30GB 5.5G iPod and it worked better than before (everything was smooth and such). Doesn't take long and it he…

  • Well, I'm glad that this was finally resolved. They still need to lower the price of the friggin' thing.
  • Me, personally, I'd stick with just basic per-song purchases. Subscription services sound great, but you don't get to keep the songs, so there's really no point.
  • I think music services like URGE allow subscription. Don't use the Zune, because you can only "rent" the songs...once your subscription runs out, so does the song usage.

  • iTunes is ugly. I can't stand the way it's so horrible to look at. It's too bland for me. However, it's wonderful software to use, and I use it for all of my song playing needs. For videos, I use WMP 11. Can you even import videos into iTunes?
  • I'm not too worried about storage for now. I mean, I won't be getting one for a while, but by the time I get one, the storage will be ample, especially with the sudden outbrake of SSDs and higher density flash memory. So, really, I'm not worrying ab…
  • You know, it's a two-way street from my perspective. I've been listening to the Fratellis for a while, my friend introduced them to me a few months ago. I downloaded their entire album, Costello Music. They quickly became one of my favorite bands (a…

  • Well, it was just reported on Engadget that iPhone's widescreen isn't legit widescreen, 16:9 ratio. That's quite depressing. I hope they fix that, I really do.
  • Can a 3G antenna connect to a 2G network? Think about it. Apple themselves has stated that they plan 3G in the future, and I'm wondering if they intend to stick 3G hardware in iPhone and just have it work with 2G for now. If that's possible, and IF …
  • kfdan, while it's a good idea, it's not happening anytime soon. Video conferencing is unnecessary at this time, but I still think that the ability to record movies via the camera is.
  • If you don't think the iPhone is revolutionary, you need to rethink your life. Seriously. I'm not being a fanboy (and I'm not, I'm pro-Windows, pro-Microsoft, pro-Gates, yet pro-iPod [and now pro-iPhone]), but the iPhone is just amazing. While $600 …
  • My Cingular plan right now uses MEdia Net Basic: 1MB data transfer, 200 SMS (text), and 40 MMS (multimedia) per month. I'd obviously want to up that to unlimited everything, but that'd probably be rather costly. I don't use my MMS a lot, but I would…

  • Microsoft still has to support their utter failure that is the UMPC (which is, btw, a really good idea, just managed poorly). However, UMPCs don't have phones built in, which is a problem. Between Windows Mobile and the Zune, I'm sure they'll think …
  • One thing that concerns the hell out of me is what Cingular (to be just AT&T by the time iPhone releases) is going to do with minute and data plans for this thing. My dad uses a an HP Pocket PC and his unlimited data plan is something like $20 a…
