Either of those should work. Pretty much anything works, as long as the heavier chips come first on either card. Are you sure you've got fully buffered ECC memory?

There are a few mice out there that use a touchpad instead of a wheel for scrolling. I used one a while back, and although I can't remember the make or model, it wasn't impressive.
