Wow! They're going to provide STOOLS for seating?? At my local Apple Store, the stools are removed to some back room right after class times are over. I'll bet that the stools in the renderings will be ephemeral as well.

I'm going to head to the nearest Microsoft store to check it all out.

I'm old and retired now. I still have a bunch of old OSX apps with limited use to me, and I'm sure as he'll that I'm not going to upgrade them at great cost. Like, my old FileMaker Pro houses my ham radio log of over 10,000 contacts, and I no longer…

I made the mistake of putting a couple of my wife's favorite games on my new iPod2. You can add one more to that 40+million.

When I first got my Lisa at work, its basic functions were explained to me – documents, folders, applications and the like. When I moved up to the Mac II, most of what I had learned simply ported itself over to the new machine. I had no concept of t…

OK. Product placement. Maybe I was wrong. Supposedly Apple does not pay for product placement, according to the Washngton Post article, so I will stand corrected on this point. Like… never mind. http://www.edibleapple.com/the-signi...uct-placemen…

...we ARE going to ignore the huge sums that Apple pays for product placement in all those TV and movie dramas, right? But then, we KNOW the shows are fiction and the actors are, well, ACTORS.

...small print on the bottom, like in the car ads "Professional driver on a closed course. Don't drive like this nitwit in your own car anywhere on earth..." The could say "Professional actor being paid to shill this crap. Buy at your own risk..."

When I was the guy in charge of forms analysis and design at a big Wall Street firm, we had to contend with New York law that specified that contracts had to be 8 points minimum, and "clear and readable". I used Pagemaker to compose these contracts,…
