I like the current Aqua also. The new one just doesn't feel right.

No need to hide it inside your app, just make it a hidden file in the disk image. Here's what the OmniGroup does for their apps: Create a folder inside the disk image, call it windowbg. Inside, save your image. Then open the View Options palet…

iCab. All the time. What does everyone here have against iCab? It runs machines from 68k to present, it's small and fast, and it renders more pages correctly than OmniWeb. [quote]Originally posted by agent302: ...Blocking pop-ups (I know M…

If you want to avoid the ._ files, tell your graphics program to save the files without resource forks. Most can do that. BTW, I would not format your disk as UFS as 99% of programs will *not* run on it because they use the Resource Fork to stor…

StarfleetX, could you post pics of the speech prefs pane?

I checked, and MacWorld requires a parent to be with anyone under 16. I believe, however, that WWDC requires all attendees to be over 18; I didn't see any parent/guardian clause. Please correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Unfortunately I'm just an online member, and even if I could afford to go, I wouldn't be allowed anyway because of the under-18 rule. So, I expect a full and complete report on the keynote! edit: When I joined, I did agree to that agre…

I think he means, what version of Mac OS X will come without Classic installed by default. That won't happen for a long time, IMHO. Many people depend on Classic apps to get their work done, so it will be at least another year, if not longer, be…
