They just won't die! I still use mine several times a week, on the side while gaming on my iPad Air. I know people who still use iPad 1's in a serious way--artists even. Hard to imagine! These people have a treat in store when they finally upgrad…

Useful to know--thanks. I'm getting more interested in the AppleTV. Might wait for the 2nd or 3rd gen (of the new tvOS platform) IF they update yearly. They may not....

Suggested solution: - Force-touch screen anywhere to unlock. - To get to home screen, Siri, etc., STILL have a home button%u2014but just a thin part of the lower bezel. No fingerprint reader means it doesn't have to be finger-sized. (It could be a…

Can't wait for August 31!

My WiFi (old model Time Capsule) goes much farther than 31 feet. 3,000 sq. ft. is downright tiny if you think about it! Sufficient for an apartment or small house, even so.

Not entirely unreasonable.... just hope they're paid well!

Location Services has impressed me for years being able to show almost to the room level where I am in my building. No beacons or anything, just old-school WiFi location. Would be neat to get even more precise! (Plus I can't tell from Maps where it…

It's a crying shame that Heath Ledger passed away. He would have played CFO Luca Maestri unforgettably.

Apple CANNOT penetrate the Chinese market at ALL without a phone made of cardboard that is dropped for free from airplanes. Analysts know this. Wake up, Apple

Get those NFC-ready registers everywhere (thought it would have happened by now!) and THEN we can talk about whether there's a meaningful "plateau." No need for retailers to "support" Apple Pay... they just need modern payment terminals period, and…

Everyone has known this for a decade. No investigation needed.

I thought we already knew that? I guess it was conveyed in some way other than the Guidelines docs, which have now been updated. (At first I thought it meant voice control must be supported... which would be great, but sometimes impossible!)

My major version upgrade policy for ANY vendor: 1. Wait for the first point update. 2. THEN wait 3 more days. 3. GO FOR IT.

Article is completely correct nearly all of the time – the exception being certain specific misbehaving apps. Facebook is currently one of them and needs a fix now that they have been caught cheating. I have never force quit all my apps, ever, I ha…

Mine sounds like a noisy box fan, has a reliable range of maybe 100 feet, and can't carry anything but it's own toy-caliber camera. And it's much less likely to hurt anyone or anything than a typical R/C aircraft is, since it's so easy to control. …

Sad to say, for some interactive content, Flash is cheap to develop and runs on all Macs and PCs, even ones with older browsers. Any other method of interactive content is less widely supported on the desktop, more feature-limited, and less rapid (…

If you want to stealthily trigger Google Now or Siri, it is MUCH more easy, reliable, and cost-effective just to become a pickpocket... You won't need a van, you won't need to stay within a few feet the whole time, and it won't require the user to b…

This is one of THE best iOS apps, now $5 cheaper than before, with more features! Anyone who can't get over Marco's perfectly reasonable and harmless decision about his Peace app is cutting off their nose to spite their face. Take a breath. Listen …

The nib might be replaceable just because it's a heavy-wear part. But I feel like I read something a while ago that the "texture" sensation is from the nib material rather than the surface. (Can't remember where, sorry.) Sounds like interesting eng…

Apple patents a lot of stuff. Most they never intend to use.
