Very cool! Other iPad-based attractions/museums I've seen use what seem to be much better padded/armored cases, though. Hope these can stand the abuse! (And if $32 is too expensive for a given family size; three good options would be a) having fewe…

Jailbreaking once allowed a lot of major things, for adventurous risk takers. Jailbreaking now allows a few minor things, and the risks have passed beyond mere adventure. Not worth it. Disable security? No thanks.

I don't think streaming is for me, but I do like the new Music app. I'd say it's 5 steps forward, 1 step back, and the inevitable revisions/evolution will make it terrific. Meanwhile, I'll enjoy a little ad-free streaming radio to discover music. B…

30 days is long enough to break the pen sensor by inserting the pen without looking. Long enough to fail to find your favorite apps, but find the pre-installed 3rd-party junk just fine. Long enough to find the Samsung-not-really-cooperating-with-Goo…

If this is a technique Apple expressly allows and even mentions in a tech note, then ideal or not, I surely don't blame Google for pointing some developers in that direction.

Wait times? Luckily that is a problem you CAN just throw money/staff at.

I'm American and I spell wavy "wavy." So does Apple spellcheck.

Record 4k video that takes up extra storage, and nobody who views your clip will be able to tell the difference Everyone wins!

Love the new star logo! That apple thing was soooooo played.

Keyboard as accessory--sure. It makes sense for some. Probably left to 3rd parties. Detachable 2-in-1? No. That will make sense in a far off future where iOS and OS X merge. Until then, it's still a useful niche for some, but not a niche I expect …

It's 100% possible that someone at Swatch named a collection after a Colombo line. Let's not pretend certainty either way. "Tick different" has no such ambiguity...

Usually I find ignorance and political parroting amusing... but this thread got a few laughs out of me!

Some percentage of people realize a new model is coming. Any world in which sales did not drop would be one crazy world. Plus, for better or worse, Apple didn't increment gradually, they waited for a big jump all at once. They're the oldest game in…

I'm not sure I'd call that "iOS connected" by any stretch. I already take photos of written notes often, and contrast-enhancement is indeed a useful step (which I wouldn't get a specific app for, I'd use Genius Scan or something). So, take iOS out…

A camera on a really long, hovering, flexible, remote-controlled selfie stick IS a useful idea! It can't do what a conventional drone can do. A conventional drone can't do what it can do. Pick the right tool for the job--this looks like a great p…

Ah, DigitTimes. (But sometimes there's a kernel of truth behind a false rumor: it wouldn't surprise me if some of the newly-announced models SHIP later than others. Maybe the Pro and Mini could ship first, say, and Air 3 after 60 days or something.…

2.6% of Android users have the latest version? Let's double that number by 2017! Reach for the sky, Google! Or maybe not. I know Samsung loves my friends who buy a new Android phone every year or so, to escape the problems of the previous one and g…

Designed to compete against? It's just a size. Designed to look like? Well, yes, but that's not new.

My policy on Mac, which I hope to replicate with iOS, is not a universal ad block that kills the paychecks behind content I want, but more targeted: - Block ads except from sites I frequent (gotta keep AI and others financially possible; I make thi…
