A Virginia Commonwealth gun rights group has a logo which says "Guns Save Lives." Perhaps the same can now be said for iPhones. ;-)

Is Apple accepting returns from folks who bought an Apple Watch before Apple Inc acknowledged the problem?

If Cook really wants to make his point, maybe he should close the Apple Retail Stores in Indy and Mishawaka. At this point, it's just a personal opinion piece as opposed to a company core belief. Still, a negative opinion piece penned by the boss of…

Yep, as b9bot wrote, I still think I'll stay with my RAID 1 0 setup. Much faster, I don't have to agree to Amazon's 'we own your data' terms of service and I don't have to worry about cloud hacking or Amazon later changing the meaning of 'unlimited.'

Why was the Apple license tag blurred out, but not the POV next to it in the top photo? Apparently not a privacy issue or they both would have been obscured despite being unattended in a public area. Secondly, I'm amazed Jason I think you said his …

So why didn't Cook vow to look into the allegations right from the start instead of that lame "I'm deeply offended" CYA line? He lost a lot of credibility with me even though I think Apple is doing more than any other tech company to do right by the…

I hope this doesn't affect the slimmed-down version of Wolfram|Alpha running on iOS. I use it many times/day.

Looks like I don't need to renew my WSJ subscription. If their Apple "sources" can't get the long-lead iPhone screen composition right, how am I supposed to buy into their financial reporting.

Updating an iPhone and an iPad. Started slightly after 1 p.m. EDT, both downloads took less than five minutes. But I'm coming up on one hour into the "Preparing Update" phase and the bars are slightly under 75%. This is going to be a lengthy proce…

There's no link I was able to find from the 'normal' Costco website. How the hell are people who don't read the tech sites going to find Costco's online iPhone/iPad mail order site? Apparently they aren't going to be sold in the Costco kiosks.

There's a ton of negative one-star Amazon "reviews" about the case. Any AppleInsider readers have experience with it?

Mac Rumors reports "All accredited competitors, coaches, trainers and officials are required to abide by Rule 40 of the Olympic Charter, preventing athletes from mentioning any non-Olympic sponsor companies. Athletes breaking Rule 40 can be punished…

Sad day when Apple starts copying Microsoft six months after they hit the street with something! Have all the true innovators and visionaries at Apple moved on to more lucrative jobs?

Got mine today, joined the existing Sonos wireless network and was playing in about 10 seconds flat. This is one fantastic speaker, in fact, I'd say it has better sound than my Play:3 as long as china-rattling bass isn't a must-have. If I need anoth…

My Play:1 is "out for delivery" this morning. It'll join a 3 and a 5 which I've had for quite some time. Glad to see a moisture-resistant version, it's going in the master bathroom.

OTOH, I arrived at my local Verizon Wireless store at 7:30 a.m. and walked out at 8:15 with a new 5s (doors opened at 7:55). Probably 20 customers in line at opening and nearly that many customer service reps. They were well trained and quick/effic…

@ "I don't know how she could demonstrate bias any more clearly than that." Except that from everything I've read, DoJ has come up spectacularly short in offering "direct evidence." A lot of 'Isn't it true/fact that%u2026' which their own witnesse…

@ "Sign a letter? I'd tellem it was my department- I take the blame, but they can take that letter and shove it!" I think I'm going to put a variation of the Scott Forstall forced outage in my kitbag of questions posed to division-level hiring cand…
