I haven't see the 5K in the "flesh" yet but I'm baffled...AI calls it "gorgeous" while many forum contributors to previous stories call it "fugly" although presumably, they haven't seen anything but a picture. So I'd like to hear from one or more w…

How does CCC compare to the cheaper SuperDuper? Does it work better/faster, do more, etc.? And does SuperDuper work with Sierra?

That answers a lot of questions that have been floating around on the Apple forums since the 5K monitor was announced back in October.

Apple really went all out for employee holiday gifts this year, didn't they?

Cook didn't waste any time getting over the HRC defeat. He knows he needs to figure out what makes Trump tick and get in a position where he gets those big Trump thumbs up. Because if he doesn't, the consequences for Apple could be huge. He needs to…

Just saw the notice and ordered. Expected delivery date is Jan 12th although Apple typically beats their online estimates. Would be a nice surprise if they make it by Christmas but doesn't look like that will happen.

If demand is so weak, why is the delay to get one being measured in multiple weeks?

I suppose a Google search will reveal the answer but for brevity's sake, are Thunderbolt 3 docks being made? And if so, do any of them support FireWire? Or maybe it's not even doable?

Anyone aware of an article which discusses USB-C and Thunderbolt 3, compatibilities, speeds, backward compatibilities, passive vs. active cabling, etc.? I'd like to get smart on this and a soup-to-nuts discussion would be helpful.

This is starting to worry me, I'm seeing more and more cases where the Apple culture seems to be swinging toward the 'deadlines aren't really meaningful' side of the pendulum. Always before, when I ordered something from Apple with an "in the future…

Guess I need to start reviewing what USB-C hubs are available. Any well-recommended suggestions?

Has the Tyson's Corner store in Northern Virginia already been updated? I think it might have been the first Apple Retail Store to open...I stood in line for about five hours before store opening in May 2001 and my wife and I got black tee-shirt fre…

@"Apple isn't the #1 manufacturer of computers, so I don't see why they would have priority over anyone else." Actually, that might be a plus. Get the chips in the hands of a high-profile brand but not have to deliver so many during the production …

Clearly a bolt action, maybe even single shot, target rifle (as opposed to those sinister 'assault-style' rifles). As far as I know, no one from either political party has proposed any bans on the sorts of firearms depicted by this rifle emoji.

Well I hope these public beta testers do a better job than they did on the last two iOS releases. And I hope Apple moves beyond the NIH (Not Invented Here) syndrome and *listens* to them...and fixes what they report before another embarrassment make…

The FBI might as well brief Apple. The US Senate is a sieve and Apple will get the info anyway.
