  • most hard drive manufacturers will have such documentation on their websites. oh, also check the docs for the enclosure. they may want you to use a "cable select" arrangement rather than master/slave.

  • an audio CD contains no file system information as to the amount of data stored on it. what you are seeing is an improper estimate calculated by the finder.
