if i was you, i would: -get myself a set of 10.4 disks (buy, borrow, steal) -pop the dvd into the ibook that has the most ram -do a clean install -have fun

take it to an appe store if you bought it online or to the dealer you bought it from. though cosmetic damage isn't really covered by apple care - talk to them and see if you can get it fixed. be polite!

the polycarbonat case of the ibooks was the toughest i saw. it takes a extreme amount of force to break it. the aluminium case takes allmost as much - but dents pretty easy. but lets face it. they are computers for gods sake! don't drop them!
