  • No it's not true. As long as the devices are synced to your iTunes account, then there's no limit to how many the apps are installed on. I've had many of my apps installed on no less than 4 iPod touch's (my dad's, my sister's and two of my own [one …
  • The iPod touch does not have the ability to be used as a portable drive so, unlike other iPods, it DOES NOT need to be formatted to be used on different operating systems - it's as easy as plugging it into the new computer and it will work fine stra…

  • Probably because the 2GB shuffle won't be released until the very end of the month (I know it's only 3/4 days away, but they wouldn't advertise it on their store before it's actually available...)

  • I understand completely about errors with iTunes 7.6, it really is a nightmare to use. I have the Windows version, and regret ever updating from 7.4 (which was the best version I have used yet). After it installed it said my computer needed to rest…
  • No. And if you're thinking of "accidentally" damaging your iPod in the hope Apple will give you a new model, that won't work either; Apple will just give you a new/refurbished 30GB 5th gen.
  • That would be impractical as "flipping" merely causes a tracklist to appear, and the tracklist is already available in iTunes under the Cover Flow window.
  • Kishan, re-read thread, the original "Super Bowl" post was made at the start of 2007.
  • I guess I'm one of the few people that encountered no problems with upgrading, basically the instant I accepted the license agreement for the software my iPod moved to the homescreen and displayed the new apps.
  • Oh good, so that means I don't have to download *another* 165.5MB? Thank god, that would have killed my internet.
  • Don't jump to conclusions, yes, I do realize that $20 is a lot of money. But in this case I think it would be easier to pay for the software update, especially since Apple won't replace this guy's brand new iPod just because they want the new applic…
  • It'd just be easier going on the iTunes Store and buying the new software for $20. That'll give you all the new applications.

  • There's nothing you can do, if you want to use your iPod then you'll just have to wait for it to finish downloading no matter how slow it is.
