I highly doubt they will ship before the launch date. My iPod Touch was in "prepared for shipment" for a week and a half before it shipped out, and Leopard itself has been in "prepared for shipment" for me for about 3 days.

Seriously, caring about having a button to click when needing to open a new tab is silly. You only use one hand to browse using the mouse, the other hand can quickly smack a cmd-t in there when needed. It's not that hard to do, people.

If you look at the pictures, one of them shows the configuration pane for Time Machine, asking when to back up. The option listed is Backup at Midnight. I'm sure they will have a "Custom..." option. Don't underestimate Apple.
