I doubt it's real, but it looks like the screen is bigger than KR's gameboy. I also doubted the spy shots of the Quicksilvers. I still can't believe Apple did that.

Take Monday off from work. Sunday night take a sleeping bag, a thermos of coffee and my iPod to the Aspen Grove store. Sleep on the sidewalk like a kid waiting for a concert. Hope this rates up there with Pink Floyd. Z

Just called the store... everything's down on their end too. The gal said something about generators going out. I've managed to hit 2 pages at the educations tore, but nothing with any meat.

I'd say they have generated more interest than they anticipated. A manual DDoS attack by millions of GHz starved Mac Freaks, all rabidly clicking their single mouse button in worldwide synchronized precision. I love Apple. This is gonna be a Grea…

So, Dave, why'd you remove the fact that the Pixo folks are mostly ex-Apple and a few are ex-Newton? Dunno what else you noticed, it's gone too. Diagnostic mode and the tests? I agree, there's a lot more than MP3's this thing can play. I'm curious…

Good idea.. have to call the Littleton store and see if they are too. I was just thinking of a couple of days off and a road trip to San Fran, but sanity sunk in. Now I'm really excited. Two more hours till they open.

All Macintosh succeeded in doing was to reduce his credibility to zero. I wouldn't believe him if he said the sky is blue.... Shalee done. Zack

Good call DaveGee - Thomas Edison was the Bill Gates of his time. Nikola Tesla was a true genius. There are several applications of "beamed power" - NASA does it on some satellites. RF-ID badges, the ones you use to get the door to open at w…

Steve said it - Nobody carries PDA's. I work in Engineering R&D, senior tech, new product developement. Check out any design review, heck any upper level meeting. Hardly anybody has a PDA, but everybody has a clipboard or stack of papers. I wa…

I'm with you Dave. If that's the "one more thing" I'll be ordering one as quick as I can dial 1-800-MY-APPLE. Zack

I backlit a Pro-keyboard last summer with a 6x16" EL sheet. It was an expensive and laborious project(~100 bucks for parts and 3 weeks of dinking around). In the end, I had a real cool, expensive night-light. The EL sheet was too thick and the key…

To hell with any other threads or sites... I'm leaving my browser on this one for a while and refreshing. Thanks to Dorsal and Codename(and everybody else) for making a real fun thread. I've got 400 in savings so far, a week of PTO to cash out and…
