Until now most of the places I shop didn’t accept Apple Pay, but Aldi is my #1 grocery shopping choice, so this is great. Now just need CVS, ATMs, and gas stations. If they get those my card can disappear into the back of my desk and be forgotten.

My only remaining complaint about Apple Music is that it doesn’t work with my Echo Dot (yeah, I know... but dang it’s convenient). If I can score a HomePod for Christmas then Apple Music may finally win me back over. It's not exactly voice…

mike1 said: Maybe I'm just too old or stubborn to get it, but even if I decided to subscribe to Apple Music, why would I care what other people are listening to? This has actually been one of my bigger complaints about Apple Music up to …

I'm always an Apple fan first but I have an Echo Dot and I have to admit Alexa is far more helpful than Siri and the voice controlled speaker is much more convenient than always pulling my iPhone out of my pocket. If Apple were to launch their own v…

10.3 caused my phone to start syncing iCloud Drive over cell data. It burned through 4GB before I tracked down the problem and I had to turn Drive completely off to make it stop.

Netflix gets the new stuff, Hulu gets the old stuff... that's a full 180º reversal from their original content strategies. It works for me though. I already subscribe to both so this means I'll have a huge Disney library available. It will be nice w…

The new fee is needed because of "increasing support costs associated with customers switching their devices," Really? If support calls really cost that much then charge directly for them. Why should I be billed for someone else's support cal…

What I really want from Apple's audiobooks is the ability to re-download past purchases just like all other iTunes content and go DRM-free. Until them I won't be buying iTunes audiobooks again. I have a few Pimsleur language courses that I bought se…

I've had some issues with it but I still prefer using it. Walgreens always works but asks too many additional prompts. Office Depot moved me around four different registers before finding one with the NFC turned on. McDonalds has two registers and w…

I really wanted this to be good... I'm usually rushing out the door when Apple releases a new product but I'm just underwhelmed this time. The Timex Run X50 looks like a better buy. For $150/$200 it includes all the major Apple Watch features plus a…

These seem like far more intelligent people than MS/Google execs. Instead of scoffing at the idea and pointing out Apple's inexperience in the field (like Ballmer) they're taking it seriously and recognizing that it could be a game changer that they…

I haven't had almost any of the bugs that other people seem to be complaining about with iOS 8. I have had problems though with my auto rotation not working or the "raise to talk/raise to listen" feature not recognizing that I've raised my phone. Th…

Seems like in the featured photo it would make more sense to hide the camera lens behind the glasses' lens. It would be invisible to everyone except the wearer. 1) it's more fashionable. 2) it eliminates the public perception problems. Pretty sure t…

It's the Mail update that interests me. I have a high end Retina MBP and Mail nearly shuts down my whole system when I try to send a large attachment with Mail Drop. I've also had Finder showing my folders as being completely empty even when I know …

Maybe Apple can get a few content deals worked out and then just launch, leaving the holdouts in the cold until they come around like they did with NBC. They don't have to get all content available at launch, they just need to get enough to promote …

I'm excited about Red Bull TV but I wish they would just make Watch ABC work. All I get is "Accessing ABC" no matter how long I wait. And the option to make a video repeat. That would be amazing.

$100 for a MBP trade-in? You might as well just give it to a stranger.

I'm in love with the update. Very little trouble with anything and some major improvements to Siri, Maps, and others. I suspect the delay until after 5:00 for updating had as much to do with backed up servers as anything else. That's how long it to…

Helpful article. And who cares if they've always been there. I'm the go-to guy among all of my friends and family when it comes to Apple stuff and I didn't even know about the hidden .com feature. Smaller subtle features are often missed or forgotte…
