Thanks guys. I don't think there is a NCU 2.0. I have looked, but all they have is 1.0 and a Newton Connection KIT 2.0. If you have 2.0, send it to me or post it please. I've been looking too, and I found that computer-show.com has like 70 3com …

35, if you guys didn't loose count.

I don't have one, but my friend does. It's awesome. Everyone I've talked to says it's worth the $$$. It sounds great. Looks great. is super easy to use, breakout rocks! Can't wait til my bday in a month!

I can't tell if it is or not. I am only getting 287 kbps download, so I don't know if the phone is making it slower or not.

I think it's the battery. The computer shuts down after a time, and when I push the button on the bottom of the battery, the light blinks really fast.

I just got the router this morning and will hook it up as soon as possible (Hopefully before this weekend). SBC supposedly turned the DSL on this morning, so I'll tell you all how it goes once I get it set up (Unless I need help).

Thanks. That's what I was thinking had to be done, but having never done anything like this before, I decided I'd ask before I screw up 5 computers. I may have more questions once the stuff come, but those will wait til them. Philip

I already read the manual from Apple's site. As I said, I know it says the cartridge is seated wrong, but I can't get it seated right. No matter what I do, it still blinks. It isn't that hard to put a cartridge in (I've done it for 5 years). I th…

I think I'll survive with 768. It sounds a little too risky for my liking. I'd order it with 512 already in from Apple, but they charge way too much for ram. Considering my iBook now has 384, I should be OK with 768.

I paid $20. I had a 17" multiscan from last year, so I decided to buy the 630, put in the TV/Video system, and use it as a TV in my room.

Oh yeah. It has OS 9.1 on it. I use IE 5. Right now it has 128 mb (I think) of ram.

Thanks. I moved the entire explorer folder and it seemed to do the trick. I'm not sure if you meant the whole folder, but it worked.

I don't think there's anything wrong with not partitioning. I only did it because 1) All the people at MWNY 01 said to 2) I have found that, on my iMac, it makes things much more manageable and organized.

I do a lot of fiddling on my computers. I install programs and uninstall them. By the end of the year, I have all kinds of gunk I don't need, so I do a whole redo in the spring. Also, my new computer, iBook, didn't come partitioned, so I need to …
