Taiwan is perfect as all credit cards are already NFC and most shops have NFC readers and that's how people pay with their cards. Apple Pay already works on most of these readers.

Since upgrading to iOS 10, I've found the hardware volume control on my 6 to not work during phone calls. The icon shows the volume going up and down, but the volume doesn't change.

imagine Apple Pay was more cumbersome than a chip reader credit card..... it'd be counter productive). It _is_ more cumbersome. Whenever there's a long line at the checkout I just stick my card in the slot instead of fumbling to get the doubl…

Glad to see the Apple Car will be running Unix. Hopefully I'll be able to schedule cron jobs. 01 * * * * /bin/radio --on --frequency 89.5 to get my top-of-the-hour news.

Sigh, I remember when Bravo used to actually air quality programming.

We've all been enjoying our iPhones since long before LTE was widely rolled out. My US-bought iPhone doesn't even get LTE signals in Asia and I never even notice.

In Taiwan, almost every shop uses contactless terminals and the cards issued there are all contactless, so Apple Pay already works on most of them. They just need to sign up the banks. Shop clerks are usually very surprised when I pay with my phone.

Does it really make sense to be serving most of Europe from a small island?

There are Samsung stores all over the place in India. Are they really building 30% of their product in India?
