They definitely need to do a price cut (or rebate) before upgrading the iMac line. Apparently they are piling up in warehouses. No one would buy them if new ones came out.

I'm pretty sure it's just a really nice hack, where someone managed to get OSX to diplay on the screen and use the touch screen as an input device for the mac that's actually running it. Misleading, but pretty damn cool anyway.

I don't doubt that Dorsal has inside info on chips and motherboards, but I don't think he has enough insight to justify the title of this thread. Let's not forget Seybold and maybe even Siggraph. I don't know if Steve-o would be able to get the atte…

Boy I hope that shot wasn't taken with "Lucida."

Is that just a big coincidence that everything we might expect in the new PM is due "late Summer"?

Seems to me, the new PMs may be announced at MWNY but shipping in August or September. Maybe a Seybold announcement for Power users. I doubt the new machines will be available immediately at MWNY. This would still leave time for them to ship with…

I wasn't talking to you.

Forgive me for being a newbie, but I just want to make a couple of points. First of all, this .5 GHz in the last 2 years thing defies logic. How many years did it take to get to the first .5 GHz? Second, It seems to me that this is the first t…
