EriMac was an Admin. Admin = you can do just about anything here on this board. Mod = you are limited..perhaps just the ability to lock/move threads. They cannot (to the best of my knowledge) ban people..only admins can do that.

And what specifically is wrong with the new powermacs? And was this magazine addressed solely to you? I think not. If you don't like it, don't buy/read it. I find the magazine to be ok..but I get most of all my mac info on the web. Though it…

hehe..we also have about the same powerbook..but mine is DVI.

I have a powerbook and it's my first laptop. When I'm sitting at my desk or someplace solid, I prefer to use my mouse, which is this Kensington Pocketmouse Pro. It has 2 buttons, scroll wheel, optical, and best of all...the cord retracts into the mo…

I currently have a WD that I put in the firewire case and it works just fine. Haven't had any problems out of Maxtors either.

Should be able to find out here:

I sold my powermac on eBay and got more than I thought I would! So I debated on getting a new 14inch iBook when a buddy offered his 2 month old 667 powerbook for only a $100 more and there was no looking back. Now I'm on it and I love it. Go for …

[quote]Originally posted by Steve: EDIT: Also, get the modern low-end. For only $300 more, you'll get a processor that's nearly a third faster, and a much more superior graphics chip (the RADEON 9000). Where are you buying yours that you can…

Ok..I'm debating this myself..iBook 800 or 667 powerbook that's 2 months old. I'm not a "poweruser" (I don't do too many processor-intensive stuff) but I do know that a G4 would be better...what to do...what to do..

So this would only work with AT&T? And what regions will it work in? What's ****ed is that I know TMobile and (damn, can't think of the name! begins with a C that replaced BellSouth)...anyways, they sell them but not in this area right now.

Here is one that someone showed me..cheap.

Just got back from playing with both...while the 12inch is nice, I think I still prefer the 14inch one.
-
Hmmmm..perhaps I'll have to check them out again. It just seems that the 12inch was really small...

I was debating on the 12 or 14 until I saw them. The 12 is way too small screen size..even though they both use the same resolution, it's just too small for me.
