This is great news.. im wondering how far off it will be when our macs can do everything instantaneously. Boots up right when you hit the power button, encodes MP3's in a split second, encodes a 2 hour DVD in a matter of seconds. G12 maybe?

Is motorola's "G5" a 64 bit chip as well? The boxes that *cough* got were 64-bit chips and the algorithms they were running were in 64-bit. I don't know if that means it was absolutely IBM's chip or not.
