ack, horrible experience! apple and dell aren't as far apart as they oughta be, but, overall, i find i have fewer problems with my apple stuff than when i'm using other brands. but, that doesn't mean i haven't had problems!

i find the magic eraser by mr. clean works amazingly well at cleaning the white plastic parts of my iBook. I think I even used it on the touch pad (but never the screen, of course!)
