Not that Apple would put light peak in yet - but the DisplayPort specs actually allows for them to do so, and they could actually use copper or light to do so. 1.1 offered support to devices which implemented alternative link layers link fiber optic…

Seeing as they're updating the MacBook Pros imminently, not hard to see that part of it could just be a bump? We await to see what happens, but Sandy Bridge updates will be rolling out. With or without XServe, the other ranges should see updates ov…

Can we have an AI post on how the hell they're going to get a 10.7 release out by Sept 21st - 9 months away, if we haven't seen a developer build released out yet? Is there an inner circle of developers who have seen one, but aren't talking? Or is …

"From our point of view on design side, we design components where we believe we can innovate beyond the market." Gives example of A4 - they helped design/tweak it, got someone else to manufacture it. But seems the deal is more akin to their Flas…

1024 x 768 to 2048x1536 is a quadrupling of pixels (more than the 27" ACD?). Could the chip take that from its specs (using the specs from the current chip vs actual performance as a guide)? (4:3 XGA to 4:3 QXGA) If it could, would certainly be b…

10am PST, so that's what, 6pm UK time (under 2 hours). I thought that 2nd gen ATV's were on 4.1 already? Wil be interesting to see how the update is done. You could do audio AirPlay through the beta 4.2.x developer betas from what the rumor mills…

Worth noting that whilst it's not pressure sensitive, it is very likely that the Sketch stylus and the Droplet app will work for it. Not a Wacom, but at least a way to sort out a basic stylus method.

Wouldn't mind one of these attached to a new ATV next year. Have a feeling that the v2 will have much better ports on it though Decent price - wonder what monitor will align with it well seeing as it's different dimensions to the 30 and 24 inch scr…

Wasn't the issue more that Apple would need to make a tool for designers as much as developers? How to bridge the gap for creating HTML5 content. THough I could see Apple getting the bit between its teeth, and not wanting Adobe to be the main rate l…

Huron River, and Light Peak/ USB3 - now there are some things to enjoy for the 2011 MBP update.

Finally! Let's hope that 3rd party apps will be able to work with this HRM, or at least allow other HRM onto the market/provide a way for Suunto/Polar etc HRM new or current, to work with iPod/iPhones. This would then allow RunKeeper, Trails …
