Apple's rebuttal here is simple: Nokia offers technology to everyone else for say, $500 (i know its not $500, but hear me out) and then offers it to Apple only with $500 AND the multi touch tech. They're using their patents on GSM to force Apple …

Apple really needed to do this; how is anyone supposed to trust that an LP is worth the cash if they have to shell out the cash just to find out? Good move on Apple's part, probably because they saw iTunes LP sales were slack for this very reason.

Hmmm I'd say we do: they have no way to pay the legal fees, yet somehow they have a legal team. That show money is coming from somewhere.

Neruda, that's a good point. Without a complete overhaul of Final Cut Studio, Logic etc this software won't be able to take advantage of these cores and GPUs etc. It's time for Apple to stop talking about these technologies and start using them. …

Hmmm... This is looking like not a bad phone. Personally, it seems to me like the first competitor to come up with a reasonable product to challenge the iPhone. Will it be better? I doubt it. But it's good to see the competition catching up.

Anyone taking note of the fact Apple mentions a patch for 10.5.8+ and I suggest that might tide people over for 10.6.0 and 10.6.1. Jumping to conclusions without considering all possibilities is shortsided - next time read the article, AppleInsid…
