Yeah you could put Linux on it... it's just a hard drive. The problem though it that when it's plugged into your Mac the HD is spinning the entire time, and if you're running an OS on it, it's being read/written to almost constantly... it's not real…

I think it just syncs with iPods via Firewire, cell phones via bluetooth, and Palm devices via USB.

AFAIK, it only works with Bluetooth enabled phones.

Yes, journaling can easily be turned off just the way you mentioned.

I just changed my scanf to the following by accident and it works: [code]scanf(" %c", &reply); Notice the space before %c... now why does this work?
