Interestingly, Apple's own HomePod, due for release on Feb. 9, will not support multi-room audio at launch. Isn't this simply because iOS 11.3 will not be released before Feb. 9?

In one of the WWDC presentations I saw a screenshot with the voice memos app right on the home screen. It had a black waveform on a white background as icon. I don't think it is going away.
