The iPhone does not run Mac OS X. It runs OS X. There is a difference, or else Apple would not have chosen to call it "OS X" while every instance of their computer OS is called "Mac OS X." See for details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OS_X …

I'll be surprised when I see the MacPod. That is, an iPod form factor (but with a full screen), which runs Mac OS X.

If I have 7,000 processors, 800 TB of RAM, and 500 Petabytes of hard drive space... will my computer finally be able to do my job for me?

That's really strange. If you search for Airline on the Apple Store, you find that for $10 more, you can get one of these: http://us.kensington.com/html/10359.html It's not quite as elegant, but I believe it charges your battery (the Apple one o…

Wow... 4 pages: http://images.apple.com/legal/sla/macosx104.pdf 14 pages: http://download.microsoft.com/docume...1210b71b13.pdf Granted, Apple uses a more condensed format, but still... even Apple's URL is simpler. The most telling pa…

This is just another ploy by Microsoft to drive away customers. Exceedingly high prices, draconian licensing schemes, per-user charges for everything, and — oh yeah — incredibly crappy, buggy, virus-prone code. These are all clever tactics to see…

Like many other people, I would never, ever buy an iPod. It just isn't my cup of tea. I'd prefer silence to music blaring directly into my ears. And I even enjoy hearing what's going on around me. But I'd buy an Apple iPhone in a heartbeat. I thi…

Teams is described here: http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/l...ikiserver.html They don't capitalize the T, but obviously this is it. It's more than just a Wiki server because it also integrates with the calendar and mail services.

FWIW, it appears that someone at the Gap realized that alienating customers is not so good for business... gap.com now redirects to: http://www.gap.com/store-closed/Gap/.../en/index.html which says:Quote: Thank You for Visiting the New Gap.com…

The best reason not to shop at the Gap... Their parent company is trying to destroy 235,000 acres of old growth redwood forest. Oh, and they run sweatshops as well. Great folks. http://www.gapsucks.org/gwa/new/2001.html And BTW, if they can't pr…
