There needs to be a function for filtering which download processes run when you are on 3G. I want to be able to say that automatic software updates across all my apps are suspended while on 3G. Ditto scheduled podcast updates, and the rest. P…

I dread to think what this will do to my already barely functional iPhone 3G.

I'd like to use a stylus with an iPad for the 'capture' part of note-taking, which would let me scribble, draw etc while listening to people ( meetings, lectures, podcasts, etc ). No handwriting recognition, just straight capture to 'paper'. T…

I could imagine a mode in which the user grasps the bottom two corners and pulls the screen towards them so it moves to 45 degrees with the front edge as close to the user as the front edge of the desk, overlaying the keyboard. Touch, then, would ma…

Wow, Nokia have really been blindsided over the last few years. Whenever someone says "If it ain't broke don't fix it", I think of cases like this. If it ain't broke, innovate !

Jeez, don't they have better things to work on? Fix a bug !

I think it's fantastic that so many people posted here that it doesn't matter that he may be gay. I bet the microsoft blogsites have stepped up the hatred. Remember that audio clip from someone who played on Xbox with the alias 'gayboy' with all …

If Apple made a wifi mouse with two buttons and a scroll-wheel, it would be the best mouse they have ever made. Think Normal - sometimes it just works.

FEATURE REQUEST: Automatic update downloads, but not when I'm on 3G.

It's a little naughty for a developer to try using a non-public API, but that's geeks for you. It is really poor that Apple's environment lets developers call, or even see, private functions. This shouldn't be an issue, because it shouldn't be p…

4.0 ruined my iPhone 3G experience and 4.1 was only temporarily better. I really hope 4.2 does the job, as otherwise they send a message that an iOS4 device only has a lifetime of 2 years. Can't wait to try it.

Whatever the Eject key on a Macbook Air actually does, it surely does not deserve its own hard key. Given that keyboard real estate is so precious why not drop it?

Shame about mini-displayPort. I wish they'd get over it.

I'd be interested to see a convertible at this size. iOS4 in slate mode, OSX in laptop mode. Also the keyboard to dump all the extra keys around the edge, invent some smarter navigation, and keep a decent qwerty. Still heavy tho.

I wonder if it's true what daringfireball.net has said about iTunes 10 having broken all Automators. I was going to learn Automator / AppleScript for a bunch of things. If this is true then it's poor quality. Using Apple's products is like hav…
