I think video conferencing in iChat. And bluetooth mice and keyboards. And 19 inch iMac. And release some none Apple software like Quark. That along with whatever iApps is enough to fill up a keynote.

I think both the top 17inch iMac and 19incher will be 1ghz, with the lower 17 at 800 or 867. And maybe slot load opticals like they did with the original iMac. By then we may get a 40 gig iPod if Toshiba can come out with the appropriate hard dr…

19 incher must be wide screen. I dunno about the 17incher changing to widescreen though.

I agree Apple, should work on their upgrade strategy. They are a victim of their own creation. The Apple following(us) is too educated on the whole to just go out and buy a Mac any old day because we feel like it. We know when a new one is coming…

also as far as dream options go: 1) A larger trackpad that can double as a tablet like input device ( or even a thumb print identifier for security ) 2) touch sensitive screen 3) how about the top of the case made of solar panels

can't use freon without a compressor, good luck fitting that into a 1 inch thin laptop AND having a battery last more than 5 minutes. I am pretty sure that would be an engineering issue...like running the space shuttle on 4 D sized batteries would …

Yes. New Powerbook.

Don't worry KidRed they arbitrarily or inconsistantly close threads all the time, it really has little effect on most of us anyway. The closed link did have its own subject, that another thread just barely got into, but who gives a damn lets just c…

I am sorry but, honestly, it is a bit ridiculous for Apple to put off updating a product seven months and then only add the 133mhz and bluetooth to the Powerbook. Seriously, that cannot be a engineering choice, an 8th grade science class could do t…

2-3 weeks tops, but I don't know what type of device they could have. I am not anticipating a new device but I do like surprises.

I have run Jag on a 600mhz ibook, it was not bad until I used a 800mhz Imac, then going back does really suck
