One thing is totally clear and unarguable - the screen of the iPad is twice the size of the playbook. Hey RIMM - Thanks for promoting the iPad.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. The proof of the bugging is in the patching.

I understand the point of "even if it doubled the $1 B cost" but of course it would not come close to that. The original cost included land and infrastructure build up that would not be necessary. And that is very expensive.

"The company noted that its four new stores in China are the highest trafficked in the world and among the highest performing. " Now that is a real important point for the investor. It indicates that China really is a growing market. Since Macs h…

The odd thing is that someone will say something like "The iPhone, which is more of a portable computer than just a phone…" Then they will turn around and argue that an iPad is not really a computer.

Shhhhhhhh!! Don't ' tell anybody this! It is a secret for the smart investors!!

Sounds to me like Apple has purposeful leaks in order to have people wait instead of buying Android phone for christmas.

700-500 grams... The two heaviest items are the battery and the screen. The latter also consumes the most juice. So reduce screen size and you can reduce the weight considerably.

Two things will happen. 1- The various parties will become used to the process, and so it will flow smoother, and 2- Apple will adapt to the real needs of advertisers if that should become necessary.

When Apple offers the MobileMe mail to businesses it will be a direct attack on MS Exchange. Imagine, equivalent service at a fraction the cost! Nut they had better fix the Calendar app first!

I think a 7" iPad would be a very good addition to the lineup. Unfortunately, I don't think that the price could go down proportionately. Assuming that the overall specs remain the same, you would save only on screen and battery costs. (The battery …

I was in southern Spain for 8 months in 2006, few people had even heard of Macs and fewer still ever seen one. In the town I was in (20,000) almost no one had even heard of iPod (even though Citibank in Sevilla was giving them away as a promo.) …

I find it interesting that it is also an ISP. This might wind up being the bigger point - a foothold into China's internet system. Face it, writing games is small potatoes to Apple and outside their core. Maybe to dabble in them a bit. But to hav…
