It all depends on what you do and what you carry your PB around in I guess. I carry mine in Brenthaven BACKPACK, and honestly, the 17" feels lighter than the 15" because the weight is like...more evenly distributed across the straps and my back...or…

Absolutely not. The 17" is really not THAT much heavier or bigger than the 15". In fact, it's a lot thinner than the 15". I just upgraded to a 17" from a 15" and I carry my PB EVERYWHERE on campus. It even squeezes into my existing Brenthaven bag. I…

Just got a shiny new loaded 17 incher and will never go back to anything less...

LOL, yeah, I know that. But I'm 6'3" and I just sold my 15" AlBook for a 17" 1.5Ghz AlBook. I've used the 15 on a plane before, not too much of a problem...but not sure about the 17".
-
Anyone used a 17" on a plane before?
-
Nope, just ordering a new 17" after getting a new editing job.
-
I'm selling mine (same as yours) on eBay with games and other software...if I get $2000, I'll be happy considering I'm getting a loaded 15" for the same price.

Want to or not, you'll find the new Powerbooks WILL replace your system. They are VERY nice and much better than a 733Mhz Powermac in everything but internal storage, but that can be fixed with external firewire800 drives on the Powerbook. Imagine t…

this is all you need to know... I bought this printer a month ago and it is the most amazing one I've ever used. The ink is much less expensive than HP ink, and if you run out of a single color, you don't have to throw away the whole tank. It is…

I just bought the i960 for $180 at amazon.com. It is the most amazing printer I've ever owned, and the ink lasts much longer than any Epson. Not to mention you can print directly from your camera.

Here's my new setup. Setup 2004 2.0

How did you trade it in? I just bought a Rebel, and I love it, but the D70 would be nice.

Way to go Apple, but remember, Jobs set a goal of 100 million songs by April...unfortunately, it's not likely to happen. Just putting things in perspective...but props to Apple, Napster and Co. don't stand a chance.

No way in hell am I buying refill ink or cheap generic crap for my new Canon i960 printer. I don't need over 3000 nozzels clogged with sh*tty ink. Stay away from refill kits if you have Canon printers.

Well my Mac labs at my university just got hit with an old Melissa virus that messed around with Microsoft Word. Nothing serious, but a pain in the ass nonetheless. ANd after all, it was Microsoft software, not the OS itself, that was affected.
