Facebook integration is a logical, inevitable move. I don't have access to any numbers, but I suspect the iOS FB app is the most used app across all iOS devices. It makes sense to integrate the commonly used functions into iOS.

Long story short, if Apple products were made in the US, in order for Apple to keep its profit margin, the prices of the items themselves would go up prohibitively too high to ever sell in the volume necessary to sustain the costs of making them. …

If they did this in the US: 1. They'd have to deal with unions. 2. They'd have to pay much, much more per hour, plus benefits, and unemployment. 3. Deal with some people that have a sense of self-entitlement. 4. People unwilling to lea…

Meanwhile, at RIM, they're sitting on an unsold inventory of Blackberries and PlayBooks with a value of over 1 Billion. Tough life.

Unfortunately, "Microsoft Office" means getting business work done right. Non-MSOffice applications can only promise a cetrain level of compatibility or exportability with MS Office, but they almost certainly cannot duplicate all the features a f…

Tim Cook will never *replace* Steve Jobs, but he's certainly doing a great job running the company. He doesn't need to run around barefoot in a turtleneck and jeans asking people if they are a virgin.

Clouds are fun and all, until there is a power outage, internet outage, or if someone approaches Apple with a warrant or anti-terrorism writ to get access to your files. The only secure storage is local. If you happen to have a large …

Tim Cook seems like a nice guy and seems to have marshalled the approval of his employees, co-workers, investors, shareholders, and customers. Sounds good so far.

Lots of third party company have produced stylus options for iOS devices. Why join them? Sounds like another "iPod Hi-Fi" debacle.

But will it also sync your game save data? I'm glad that Angry Birds will download on all the Macs a person owns, but what about their completed level stats?

QuickTime for Windows is kind of a joke. Have it for whatever subsystems that are needed for iTunes media playback and let it be. Windows users have has Media Player Classic, VLC, and a ton of other media players at their disposal for years. …

Apple should just bite the bullet now and have a "Patch Tuesday" each month with their own "Malicious Software Removal Tool" just like Microsoft. As more and more people use Macs, the development of viruses on that platform will only increase.

Google probably makes a lot of money with its maps API. This is one way to "combat" Google. 1 year from now: Everyone loves the new 3D Apple Maps. 2 years from now: 3D Google Maps for Android that is looks/feels like a knock-off.

I wonder if this fixed the filevault bug for so that an upgrade to Lion won't expose the password list.

Adobe Cash-in Suite 6. This year we made the background dark grey and made our own cloud service that will be ready later. Now open your wallet.
