I was visiting the mall of America and saw the MS store right across from the apple store (of course). It was hardly empty, there were people there, but it in no way was matching the bustle of the apple store. What struck me was how spread out the s…

Apple has stated it's unique downloads and not updates every single conference. If you want to hear it again, simply watch one of the conferences on apple.com. I'm not going to bother hunting for links because, honestly, it couldn't even conceivably…

For all the people saying apple should've waited longer to release FCP X, have you simply forgotten about all the pro's griping after every single conference how the pro's were forgotten, how apple didn't care about FCS etc. It had been years since …

If he would have submitted this app years ago, he'd almost have a case, but probably still wouldn't since he was using private APIs. The fact that apple offered this guy a job when the app was rejected really shoes apple wasn't being malicious. …

I'm willing to bet it's ready, but it's an iPhone 5 (4S, whatever) only feature. Why would apple roll out a new phone with a faster CPU but not offer anything which takes advantage if the new power? The iPad 2 got a vastly better version of GarageBa…

I gotta say, everyone who thinks apple is screwing you with the price of the 64 GB iPad, I'm just going to have to disagree. Sure, the margins are higher for the 64 than the 16, but as someone pointed out, in the end, apple views the iPad market as …

This was a pretty major issue on my iPhone before the retina screen. Something about the doubled display has made it much less noticeable. I so see it occasionally on my iPad, but I don't use it in direct sunlight a fraction as often as my iPhone.

Yet chrome still exists. If google is claiming one OS to rule them all, why isn't chrome joining android? It's not even like chrome is trying to be a full fledged OS like OS X, and even OS X shares it's viable APIs between the two systems. Googl…

I bet this has nothing to do with actual policies and everything to do with not disclosing info about their future environmental plans again. About a server apple hasn't even opened publicly yet. Basically green race is very opposed to apples privac…

It's ridiculous to say apple is at fault for this. The parental controls on this subject are well fleshed out. I do think apple should consider allowing "children's" accounts which don't require a credit card but do require a "parent" account to…

I've only had one for five days now, but I definitely use it way more than anything else. I'm sure over time I'll relax and prolly use it a hair less than my phone, but it's definitely the most fun of any of the electronics I've owned (iPhone, mbp, …

It's really getting old listening to analysts try and force old analysis on a new product field that bears little or no resemblance to the old market. Like in this case, windows was not and never has been an open OS. It was open in that any part…

Ok, sure, both of these execs are making up bizarre reasons why their products will succeed, and apple's ridiculously successful iPad will soon fall flat on it's face, never to sell more than 50 units a day again. But what else can they do? Appl…

Apple has so many future options for casing it seems. This, carbon fiber, stronger glass to name just a few. I'm very curious to see which options make it to market.
