"Support .PST files?" What are these? I never run into them in, so I haven't tested them. "Display the Exchange GAL properly?/Allow users to change their Exchange/AD password properly?" Sadly, I have no Exchange servers to play with--I know…

After Effects is discontinued for Mac, I believe.

Again, PCs have independent sound cards...that should equal a lower CPU utilization rate. I don't like how high the numbers get for iTunes playing mp3s, but I have to say that I've never had iTunes skip since OS9, and I think I do plenty of thing…

I did some digging, but I can't tell what the specific specs are for Exchange support. I can say that from the help descriptions it sounds like it works more like Outlook 2001, but I don't have Exchange servers to fiddle with. Address book entrie…

i don't know--I just launched the installer that comes with it, and judging from the notes it sounds like it expects to simply work with the HotSync Manager. There's no mention of iSync in the docs, so I'd guess no.

If people want to talk about all this litigious crap, could you please take it to private message or AO? As far as Office 2004 goes, it lets you record in AAC, AIFF and WAV in a variety of quality levels, so i doubt there will be problems manipul…

Back on track: I have office 2004. is there anything people need to know about it?

That isn't discriminatory pricing--it's just *pricing*, as in "we have a number of different prices." Unless it discriminates on the basis of race or something else that has been ruled illegal to discriminate on the basis of (which is a short list) …

I have a prerelease version of Office 2004 running now, so if anyone has any questions I'll be happy to talk about them. So far I've mainly used Entourage and Word, and I have to say that both are noticably more responsive than v.X was--I feel like…

You have no case, I'm afraid. It's Apple's perogative to decide what they cover and do not cover; just because they have increased what they cover after you allowed your warranty to expire does not mean they've been fraudulant or negligent, which is…

Maybe you'll be able to throw quicktime and windows installers out?

Eh. I can't see this happening, just from Sony/Apple track records. Kind of neat if it did.

Just so everyone knows, and I think most people *do* know this, PETA is run by utter crackpots and strives to have the most outlandish views on all animal-related issues. That's their deal. So, just as you don't go to the Raelians for good scienc…

"It's unusable for any kind of professional work or even basic multi-tasking. It's fine for soccer moms and home users, but you can't get any serious work done on a 1024 screen. Expose helps a little, but it's still no substitute for raw pixle count…

Camnino Nightlies for me.

I love these discussions--the megatonnage of crap opinions is staggering. People don't flood to the Mac platform because they DON'T CARE. Just as I personally don't care what kind of water heater I own, so long as it actually heats water, many fo…

No offence, but why should it matter? Since you are enrolled, you don't have anything to worry about. It would only be if you were trying to scam the system that you'd care... ...and you're not doing that, are you?

You can play games on a Mac? What? *Nods sleepily, returns to GameCube.*
