Hi Powerdoc, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that ATI themselves were coming out with a X1900 version specifically for the G5s - apparantly not quite as quick as the BTO one in the Mac Pros, but nearly. Sorry, but I don't have a link... David

I think this really died out with the cube or the 20th anniversary Mac. Even though I'd buy a TAM just to look at if I had the cash, the current iMac really is the same, only much, much better. David

If both drives are not bus powered, there shouldn't be a problem. But we all know that there can be a big difference between principle and reality... David

If you don't need portablity, the iMac is by far the best bang for your buck. A decent graphics card, larger screen and a desktop HD make it the best Mac after the Mac Pro. David

There's a seagate one, and that even goes up to 750GB. But I'm not sure if it does FW800, and it does look butt ugly. David

The x3000 is going to be a decent improvement on current integrated graphics, but expect it to be no better than the bottom rung of dedicated cards. (e.g. X1300) David

I doubt that it will, since the Mac Pro SATA drives plug directly into the motherboard in the caddy, without any cables. Add something in between, and the machine won't close up. David
