I would imagine that they have multiple products for multiple price-points. At any size, however, a Foevon should be better than a similar image sensor. Take a look at the technical descriptions on their website to see why.

[quote]This all sounds great...... but, it's gonna cost a bundle. Any new technology does and I t hink we're talking about a camera in the $2000 range. Why would it have to cost a lot? Think of a replacement for the $500-$1000 digital still came…

MPEG4 file sizes are variable and depend on a lot of stuff, but the MPEG4 standard calls for bit rates from a low of <64 kbps to a high of 4Mbps. So assuming you tried to get the best results possible (to be used to make a DVDs, not for stre…

That's pretty much what WebTV does - or whatever Microsoft is calling it these days. There are (at least) two aspects to this. Where the OS, your programs, and general settings come from (the net) and where your personal data is stored (includin…

I have a feeling not many people posting here have seen the smallest Sony Vaios. Go take a look at Fry's some day. You'll be BEGGING Apple to make a Mac like that. Heck, forget PDAs, give me a mini-Mac! And no, they don't have CDs. You don't wa…

There is a solution. And that's to have the CD drive removable. Ideally, it would slide into a big multi-function slot. Really ideal would allow that slot to contain an extra battery. Then, I can have a light iBook or a CD iBook, or update it …
