I just dislike their forced upgrade. They obsolete old software that isn't even two years old all to get some supposed tweak that is of no importance, and questionable gains in speed. If the gains posted since v2 were true, the VM's would be runni…

I would think if they do, they'll just make another drive bay available like they did on the mini. It's an easy change. Removing the optical drive on an iMac doesn't change the thickness profile at all since the 3.5 internal drives are already far…

I hope they don't try to make it thinner. Who cares. You never see the back, and this insane drive to get thinner on devices that it just doesn't matter on concern me for a non-portable desktop, especially when it comes to heat dissipation and hea…

I'm expecting the optical drive to be removed. I already use an external BD-Rom so not a big deal. I also expect it to have an additional drive bay, and possible RAID options, which would be very nice. Thunderbolt is a given. I would th…

Looking forward to voice navigation, and the somewhat bigger screen, even if it's only in one direction The new beta maps are blazing fast on LTE as well as browsing overall. Really hope the new phone offers the same. Can't get excited about a bu…

Why is this news? If they don't want it, turn it off? For those that have experienced it, it's not and day for a mobile device browsing experience. I suspect many in this poll haven't used LTE or have no understanding of what it is compared to what…

By the way, those settings are fully compatible with Apple TV (both the older 720P and of course the newer 1080P model).

These are my encode settings for 720P under HandBrake and they work very well: Average kbps: 3500 with 2-pass Ref Frames: 5 Max B Frames: 5 CABAC Entropy Encoding: checked 8x8 Transform: checked Weighted P-Frames: checked Pyramidal B-Frames: …

Agree. Was disappointed that they stuck the 4G moniker on the 4S, but understand why they did it. 4S pales in comparison to LTE on the iPad 3.

I assumed this was a given? The iPad 3 supports it. Why wouldn't the new iPhone?

I was hoping for wider, not taller. I could easily fit a wider phone in my hand, but taller makes holding and clicking in one hand a bit more problematic. Ah well

Since this isn't propriety information, it should be fine. ; ) The new Maps app is blazing fast compared to the old. Absolutely pleased with the loss of the old app and haven't missed it at all.

You can do this with an older Mac via iTunes. It's not that big of a deal. The only limitation is that the display isn't mirrored on both displays, but only the target display.

Rupert Murdoch is poison to anything he touches, and an anathema to progression. I wouldn't touch one of News Corps apps, or content with any device.

I suspect they removed them altogether simply because backsliding in their rating due to repair-ability causing the score to drop doesn't look good. I suspect the newer models will all be less repairable. This doesn't necessarily make it less green,…
